#SIKHISM

Sikhism is the youngest and 5th largest religion of the WORLD with approx. 40 million Sikhs.

In my opinion everybody knows that it is founded during 15th century in the Punjab region, by the FIRST SIKH GURU : #Guru Nanak Dev Ji and carried to progress with their successive Sikh Gurus.

Sikhi comes from the word Sikh and the word Sikh comes from the Sanskrit root which exact means disciple or you can say learner in ENGLISH. Therefore Sikhism is essentially the path of discipleship. The faith system is just based on the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and the Ten Successive Sikh Gurus.

Guru Nanak Dev Ji read out a simple message of ‘Ek Onkar’, we all are ONE, created by the ONE CREATER of all creation.

And I wanna let you know this was @ a time when India was being turn apart by castes, religious fractions etc. He aligned or we can say that stood with no religion as well as respected all religions and he expressed the reality that there is ONE GOD and many paths and the Name of God is Truth.”Satnam”.

I just wanna say that A Sikh must donate ‘DASVAND’  i.e. 10% of income when he is liable to earn money.

#SIKH BELIEFS

The Core beliefs of Sikhs are :

  ü  Full faith in one patheistic God.
        ü  Following Truth.
  ü  Treat everyone equally.
        ü  Be generous to the less fortunate.
        ü  Serve others.
        ü  Association with holy men(Satsang).

#THREE PILLARS

Three Pillars of a Sikh :-

      G Naam Japna :-  Inculcate God in mind at all times. Free service (Sewa), Meditation & prayer (Simran), Sacred Music (Kirtan).

     C Kirat Karni :- Living as honest, honest earning, labour etc. while remembering the GOD.

     A Vand Chakna :- Share with others, free food (Langer).
